The White House recently announced the creation of the Women’s Health Research Initiative to address gaps in women’s health research.
With remarks made by First Lady Jill Biden mentioning conditions that include migraine, CVSA partnered with the Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy (AHDA) to send a letter of support. This letter notates that with migraine and migraine disorders (including CVS), overly impacting women, that the initiative prioritizes the gaps in current research and funding for headache disorders in its recommendations.
